It's not as easy as some make it look

I have been eager to get back into blogging again after the trip, but I just didn’t know where to start or what to say. Maybe because I don’t think my writing can do justice to some of the places I came across, and maybe it’s because writing about it makes me reminisce on a really good time, leading to nostalgia, and then reflectance, and then a whole bunch of day dreaming. I’m sure as winter hits and I begin to go into hibernation mode, I will look for warmth in the beautiful alleys of Porto, La Rambla in Barcelona, and in the morning walks along the Seine in Paris, and memories will materialize into words, just as they have for Granada.

It was really nice pushing the pause button on life, even for such a brief period. Maybe in the future I can change the tape, press play, and live life to a different tune.

    But Omar
    You have to write, please.
How else would I have learned about Canada if it were not for your blog and a very few others which make my day happier and more meaningful?
I can't wait to hear all about it. In return, I'll try to write about my latest trip on my blog today.

Yes, Omar, give us a snapshot of these lovely places...one at a time if its too overwhelming to do them all at once. I enjoy your writing too and would love to hear about your morning walks in Paris. :) (as a place to start) I wish I could push that pause button too...but for now I'll have to live vicariously through you and all the other travelling bloggers! :)

Abufares, thanks for the nice words, I really appreciate you coming by. Tikram!

Isobel, I'm humbled by your compliment. I promise you that I'm going to write about those 3 beautiful cities. Perhaps not in a row, but I will.

D, it was great seeing you too. I got home at around 5, and I'm still catching up on sleep from. Well worth it though.

Travel is one of the greatest joys. As long as your eyes are open and your heart full.

I look forward to reading what you have to say.

It is great to see the world and how others live. I think if more Americans traveled and saw more of the world, there would be less war and killing.
