CURVIER women may have smart children because hip fat contains polyunsaturated fatty acids critical for the development of the fetus's brain.

Using data from the US National Center for Health Statistics, William Lassek at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and Steven Gaulin of the University of California, Santa Barbara, found a child's performance in cognition tests was linked to their mother's waist-hip ratio, a proxy for how much fat she stores on her hips.     My mom was skinny or thin so I guess it is true.
    Maybe the extra padding helps protect the child before birth or provides more nurishment to the brain.

    I do not believe this is the truth.My hips are perfect and I consider my body a TEN,except for my ugly feet.You can judge by yourself by looking at a photo that I have on my blog.

    And all my children are intelligent.One has graduated from college and my second oldest child is attending college,now.The only reason my youngest child did not have a good start in school is my fault,as I negleted tutoring my offspring like I should have,as a good mother.

    I ought to write to whoever wrote this and tell them my honest and sincere opinion about this so called "fact".
